InvaderCON was a fan convention organized by Green Mustard Entertainment (aka “Wasabi Anime“) designed to be a celebration for the popular cartoon Invader ZIM.  It took place twice:  InvaderCON was March 26-27, 2011 at the Marriott Century Center in Atlanta, Georgia and InvaderCON II: DOOMCON was July 28-29, 2012 in Los Angeles California. Approximately 1000 people attended the convention each time.

The event producers have promised to create InvaderCON III: MORE DOOM if (and only if) new episodes of Invader ZIM are created and air on Nickelodeon/Nicktoons.

Invader ZIM initially ran on Nickelodeon from 2001-2003 and is still popular with fans to this day.  Even though production ceased almost a decade ago, companies still produce new merchandise featuring the cartoon’s characters and fans continue to rave about the artistic merits of the series.  Invader ZIM is a phenomenon that evolved into more than “just another kid’s cartoon.”

This convention is not endorsed, sanctioned or any other way supported, directly or indirectly, by Viacom International, Inc. or Nickelodeon.  Invader ZIM and all related characters are © 2011 Viacom International Inc.
